4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (hip) is back in the lineup on Friday night and will lead off against the Nationals. Nimmo had missed the last two games of the Cubs series while dealing with right hip stiffness, but it was not believed to be serious as he had been listed as day-to-day. He has been on fire at the plate to open the year, slashing .386/.481/.455 with four RBI and two steals in 13 games.
