4 years agoChicago White Sox designated hitter Yermin Mercedes continued his incredible start to the season in Friday's victory against the Texas Rangers. Mercedes went 4-for-4 in the contest with a run scored and three RBI. Mercedes has been hitting everything this season and has been one of the better stories in the early going of the 2021 season. Mercedes is now hitting a ridiculous .429 with a 1.161 OPS, four home runs and 15 RBI. Mercedes will eventually slow down, but managers should be playing him everyday in all formats with his ability to collect hits and also collect power stats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
