4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Yu Darvish earned a victory Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, tossing seven innings of one-run ball. Pitted against Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw for the second consecutive weekend, Darvish was brilliant over 96 pitches, striking out nine while surrendering four hits and three free passes. Through five outings, the veteran right-hander owns a clean 2.27 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 30 percent strikeout rate.
