4 years agoChase Elliott has not taken a checkered flag in 2021 after winning the NASCAR Cup Series last year. Elliott nearly won at Martinsville but finished outside of the top ten last week at Martinsville. That only added frustration for the Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver as he is their only driver to not win a race in 2021. With four team drivers in the top-12 this week, there is an expectation one is likely to win on Sunday. Elliott won the Spring race on the track two years ago and contended at the Fall race last year leading 41 laps before finishing in fifth.
