4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks went 1-for-4 with a home run and a pair of strikeouts in Friday's victory over Cleveland. Hicks had been mired in a 1-for-17 slide at the plate before the series against the Indians, so it was nice to see him put together a good at-bat Friday night, working a 2-1 count before turning on a misplaced slider by Logan Allen and depositing it into the left-field seats. Hicks seems to be turning the corner, as he has three runs scored, a pair of hits, and four walks compared to three strikeouts over his last four contests. However, a tough matchup awaits on Saturday against Indians' ace Shane Bieber.--Tim Capurso
