4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Chris Bassitt allowed two runs on eight hits with eight strikeouts across six innings to earn a win Saturday night in Baltimore. Bassitt now has 16 strikeouts across his last two starts and has gone three straight starts allowing only two runs in at least five innings pitched. His 20.3 percent career strikeout rate implies he may not be able to keep up this pace of whiffs, but Bassitt has a 3.50 FIP dating back to last season and is a quality starter to roster in fantasy leagues.
