4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz swatted his seventh homer of the season in Sunday's loss to the Pirates. His homer traveled 411 feet at an exit velocity of 107.1 MPH, a no-doubter. Cruz is now tied for 52nd on the all-time home runs list with 424 in his 17-year career. He's slashing .323/.362/.694 with seven homers, 15 RBI, and 12 runs scored, more than living up to his top-100 ADP through 20 games played. Cruz seems to be past the foot issue that he suffered during the team's series against the Athletics and will look forward to facing Indians' pitching, as they've allowed 26 homers and a .809 OPS to him in his career.--Tim Capurso
