4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera was recalled from the team's alternate site on Monday, according to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki. With the Phillies center field options struggling early this year, the team turns now to Herrera, who slashed .231/.245/.481 with four home runs, four RBI and 11 runs scored in 17 games this spring. Herrera has not played since 2019 in the aftermath of a suspension for a domestic violence incident, but in his last full season in 2018 he hit 22 home runs with a .255 average. In terms of fantasy value, Herrera could be worth looking at in deeper NL-only formats, but given his troubled past, he will likely have a very short leash before the team decides to move on from him.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
