4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout returned to the lineup on Monday, and it looks like he hasn't skipped a beat. Trout had missed the past couple games after being hit by a pitch in the elbow, but that didn't affect him on Monday, as he put together a 4-for-5 effort with three singles and a double while batting third for L.A. Trout avoided strikes entirely, getting out on a fly ball in his lone hitless at-bat. Five games after his last outing took place last Thursday against Houston, Trout registered a season-high four hits for the first time this year. Through 61 at-bats this season, Trout is already slashing .426/.539/.820 with a monstrous 274 wRC+, and he looks as healthy as ever.--Antonio Losada - RotoBaller
