4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (hip) is not in the lineup on Tuesday night after receiving a shot in his hip during the team's off day Monday, according to Justin Toscano of USA Today. Nimmo received the shot to treat a mild impingement that has created stiffness in his hip, and manager Luis Rojas said it will take 24 to 48 hours for the treatment to be completed. Nimmo is expected to be available off the bench as a potential pinch-hitter on Tuesday, and should return to the lineup on Wednesday night.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
