4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Manny Piña (toe) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a fractured toe, according to Will Sammon of The Athletic. Piña suffered the injury on Monday night but played through the entire game against the Marlins. Sammon adds that the team is treating Piña's toe fracture as essentially a bruise, and he should be better within a few days. The move to the injured list was primarily done to free up space for a second catcher to join the Brewers while Piña recovers.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
