Chi Chi Gonzalez Holds Giants At Bay In No-Decision
4 years agoColorado Rockies right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez took a no-decision on Tuesday when he allowed three runs on seven hits with four strikeouts in a 7-5 win over the Giants. Gonzalez did his job on Tuesday, holding the Giants to three runs over his five innings. He coughed up an RBI double to Jason Vosler and a solo home run to Brandon Belt but didn't walk anyone on the night. The game ended up going to extra innings so he took a no-decision. The 29-year-old has been solid for Colorado this season, registering a 3.60 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and 12:7 K/BB ratio over 20 innings (five games, three starts). He gets the D-Backs on the road in his next turn but isn't fantasy viable due to his low strikeout rate and inability to pitch deep into games.
