C.J. Cron Reaches Four Times In Tuesday's Win Over SF
4 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored, and two walks in a 7-5 win over the Giants on Tuesday. Cron hit his fourth home run of the season, a solo shot when he went back-to-back with Ryan McMahon in the top of the 10th inning. He went opposite field, crushing a Gregory Santos 99mph fastball to right. The veteran first baseman has nine hits over his last five games and has raised his batting average from .200 to .271 in that span. He's starting to pick it up after a dreadful start to the season and now owns a solid .271/.370/.500 batting line to go along with four home runs and 12 RBI over 70 at-bats. He's rewarding fantasy managers that stuck with him.
