4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto went 2-for-4 with a double in the Mets' anemic 2-1 loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday. The Mets offense as a whole is struggling, including Conforto. That said, Conforto appears to be finally breaking out of his early-season slump, now having hit .280 over his last seven games and 25 at-bats. Conforto is coming off an excellent 2020 campaign and, once he gets going at the plate, should provide managers with productive counting stats and a solid batting average hitting in the middle of the Mets lineup.
