4 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela stayed hot in Wednesday's victory over the Orioles. Urshela connected on a 2-1 cut fastball, sending a line-drive homer into the left-field seats for his fourth long ball of the season. The 29-year-old now has at least one RBI in four straight games and has driven in a combined eight runs in that span. The Statcast numbers back up his production this year, as he ranks in the 70th-percentile or better in expected batting average, expected slugging percentage, exit velocity, and hard-hit rate while posting the highest barrel rate of his career. Urshela looks like an early ADP value from 2021 drafts, as he was going well past pick 100 in some formats.--Tim Capurso
