Fernando Tatis Jr. Keeps Hammering The Ball
4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Tatis continues to pound the rock, leveraging his elite 23 percent barrel rate and 95.6 mph exit velocity to a strong .262/.338/.631 slash with seven homers, four steals and 28 runs-plus-RBI in 74 plate appearances. The 22-year-old star is riding an eight-game hitting streak, going 13-for-30 (.433 average) with eight extra-base hits, temporarily putting to bed any lingering concerns about his left shoulder injury. Locked-in at the dish, Tatis' fantasy managers should be thrilled with the output after a worrisome start to the season.
