4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Nate Pearson (groin) was activated from the injured list on Thursday and optioned to the team's alternate site, according to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com. Pearson suffered an adductor strain early in Spring Training, that has kept him sidelined until now. He had only pitched one inning this spring, allowing one unearned run on one hit and one walk while striking out two. The top pitching prospect in Toronto's system, Pearson will look to continue to build up his workload at the alternate site before any potential call up to the team. Until he joins Toronto, Pearson should only be targeted in deeper leagues or if managers have a deep bench to stash him on.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
