4 years agoDetroit Red Wings left wing Jakub Vrana provided the only goal in Thursday's 3-1 loss to Carolina, netting a spectacular unassisted marker 17:31 into the second period. The former Washington winger now has six goals in seven games for his new team with one assist and 19 shots. The Czech Republic native boasts 17 goals and 32 points in 46 outings for the whole campaign ahead of Detroit's final four games of the season. The first two are extremely tough against Tampa, but next week's two-game set against Columbus should provide Vrana a chance to end the year with a bang.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
