4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Didi Gregorius was placed on the COVID-19 injured list on Friday, according to Matt Breen of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Gregorius did not play on Thursday after being hit by a pitch in the ribs in Wednesday night's game. There's no word on how long Gregorius might be out, but he'll be gone for at least Friday's game. In 21 games this season, Gregorius is slashing .250/.277/.355 with two home runs, one steal, 14 RBI and four runs scored. On the bright side, he'll be able to rest up his ribs in the meantime.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
