4 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson (eye) remains out of the lineup on Friday night against the Orioles. Olson was scratched from the lineup on Thursday after being hit in the eye with a ball while in the batting cages yesterday morning, and tests and x-rays have all come back negative. It looks like the Athletics want to give Olson one more day off before he's back in action. Check for updates on his status on Saturday, but he should return sometime this weekend.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
