4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom will have his scheduled start pushed back a day from Monday to Tuesday, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. The move will just be to give deGrom an extra day of rest, as DiComo reports the team will likely have a bullpen game on Monday. He adds that Joey Lucchesi would be eligible to return from the injured list then, and could potentially be an option the Mets use for Monday's game against St. Louis. Bottom line for deGrom though is everything appears to be fine and he'll be ready to play on Tuesday.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
