Chris Flexen Struggles Against Angels
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Chris Flexen wasn't able to pitch deep into the game Friday night, only managing to throw four innings against the Angels before being removed. It was a rough one from the start for Flexen, who needed 32 pitches to escape the top of the first inning. All told, Flexen allowed three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out none. Flexen has been strong to start the year, with a 3.33 ERA up to this point, but a major part of his appeal is his strikeout potential. Putting up a zero in that category won't inspire much confidence from fantasy managers. Flexen remains in the streaming mix for now, with the potential to improve his stock with a few good outings.
