4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (elbow) remains on track to return to the Mets' rotation in mid-June according to Mets manager Luis Rojas. Syndergaard faced live hitters in an intrasquad game at Port St. Lucie last Saturday, in which his fastball hit 97 mph. Syndergaard missed the entire 2020 season due to Tommy John surgery, following a poor 2019 campaign in which he led the league in earned runs with 94 and posted a career-worst 4.28 ERA. That said, given the consistent positive reports regarding his health status and return calendar, Syndergaard remains a low-risk, high reward option for managers who have room to roster him.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
