4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher JT Brubaker finished with seven strikeouts in five innings of work on Friday, as he took the loss in a 7-3 Cardinals victory. Brubaker allowed three runs on seven hits, as he now has 30 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings of work this season. He's looked solid on the mound this year, although his 3.67 xERA suggests he's been slightly lucky with the 2.63 ERA he owns after Friday's game. Going forward, Brubaker is a solid streaming option in mixed-leagues, and a must-roster in NL-only and deep-mixed leagues.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
