C.J. Cron Drives In A Run In Friday's Loss
4 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a strikeout in a 7-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday. Cron knocked in Trevor Story with a single in the top of the first inning to open up the scoring for Colorado. D-Backs starter Madison Bumgarner would settle down after that and silence the Rockies' bats. The veteran first baseman got off to a sluggish start this season but is slashing .353/.431/.627 over his last 15 games. His recent stellar play has raised his season batting line to .275/.376/.475 with four home runs and 13 RBI over 80 a-bats. He should continue to reward fantasy managers that stuck with him through the slow start.
