4 years agoChicago Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner continued his strong start to the year by going 3-for-3 with a walk, stolen base and one RBI in Saturday's victory versus the Cincinnati Reds. Hoerner has been a breath of fresh air for a Cubs offense that has been mostly sluggish this season. The second baseman has earned himself an everyday role with the club and is now hitting .375 with six RBI and two stolen bases over his first 32 at-bats. Hoerner has limited power, but he is worth looking at for managers that are seeking help out of the second base position in deeper leagues.
