George Springer Slugs A Pair Of Dingers In Win
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer launched his first two homers with his new club during the team's 6-5 win over the Braves on Saturday. He took Charlie Morton deep in the third inning for a two-run shot before slugging a solo bomb off Luke Jackson in the seventh as he acted as the team's DH for the contest tonight. Both shots came off 3-0 counts as Springer looks to have his swing in midseason form despite missing 21 games due to an oblique and a quad injury. There may be some questions surrounding his health for 2021, but as long as the 31-year-old is on the field, he'll produce tremendous fantasy results.
