4 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud (thumb) will be placed on the injured list after exiting Saturday's game with a thumb injury, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. d'Arnaud was injured while making a tag at the plate in the bottom of the sixth inning and was immediately replaced by Alex Jackson. Manager Brian Snitker said that the injury is "not good" and could potentially be serious, but they will not know more until after he flies back to Atlanta and consults with a team doctor on Sunday.
