4 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (oblique) could return to action as early as Friday, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle. Yastrzemski landed on the injured list last week with a right oblique strain, and is eligible to return on Thursday. He is slashing .215/.303/.468 with four home runs, six RBI and 11 runs over his first 22 games this season. Managers should continue to monitor his condition, but it looks like Yastrzemski will be back sooner than later.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
