4 years agoChicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa said after Sunday's game that outfielder Luis Robert (hip) is "definitely going to go on the IL." He will also be checked out more on Monday. Robert suffered a right hip flexor strain after beating out an infield single in the bottom of the first in Sunday's loss against the Cleveland Indians. There is currently no timetable for when Robert could return, but expect outfielder Billy Hamilton to get some run and utility man Leury Garcia should also see an increased amount of playing time. Hamilton offers value for those looking for speed, but neither player is anyone that requires rushing to the waiver wire for. Robert has been off to an impressive start and is hitting .316 with one home run, eight RBI and four stolen bases.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
