4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea allowed four runs in five innings pitched in a no-decision against the Orioles. Manaea allowed seven hits, but didn't walk a batter while picking up five strikeouts on the afternoon. This was Manaea's worst start since Opening Day as the left-hander only allowed four runs combined in his previous four starts, spanning 24 innings. Manaea is still sporting a solid 3.48 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP this season. A strikeout rate under 20 percent limits his upside in fantasy some, but Manaea has been throwing the ball well and is backed by a strong A's offense. He's got a good matchup in his next start as he'll face a Rays team that has the second-highest strikeout rate versus lefties.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
