4 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story (finger) was pulled from Sunday's matchup against the Diamondbacks. The 28-year-old was hit by a pitch in the eighth inning, injuring his right index finger. He remained in the game to run the bases, but he was yanked defensively in the ninth. Story is batting .283 this season, racking up 28 hits, with eight doubles, 16 RBI, 16 runs, and three home runs.
