4 years agoAtlanta Braves pitcher Ian Anderson was unable to help the team avoid the series sweep when he allowed four runs over four innings of work during the club's 7-2 loss to the Blue Jays on Sunday. The rookie right-hander's command wasn't sharp and he allowed six hits but he walked just two batters, kept the ball in the park, and struck out five batters. This is just the second time in six starts that he's allowed more than three runs. He's coming off a game that saw him cough up just one hit over seven strong innings. Anderson will have his ups and downs but he's an excellent starting pitcher option in most fantasy formats because he misses bats, keeps the ball in the park, and can usually provide five or more innings.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
