Raimel Tapia Reaches Three Times, Swipes Two Bags
4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia went 3-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored, and two stolen bases in an 8-4 loss to the Diamondbacks on Sunday. All three of Tapia's hits were singles, one of which knocked in Elias Diaz in the eighth inning. He also swiped two bags in the affair, giving him three on the season. Tapia has picked up eight hits over his last three games, raising his season batting line to a solid .320/.368/.433. He also has three home runs and 13 RBI over 97 at-bats. His roster shares have started to tick up recently and for good reason. He's a solid source for OBP and has some intriguing speed/power upside. He should continue to provide value hitting atop the Colorado lineup.
