4 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Yusmeiro Petit pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Sunday and picked up the win thanks to a Ramon Laureano homer in the bottom of the eighth. Petit now has four victories and a 1.04 ERA through 14 appearances this season. While Petit has been excellent, it's dangerous to chase wins with relievers in fantasy. In 15-team leagues or those that value holds, Petit is an excellent option. He should provide strong ratios, post a healthy strikeout total, and yes, pick up a few more wins thanks to a strong A's offense.
