Zach Eflin Lasts Six Innings Versus Mets On Sunday Night
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zach Eflin allowed two runs in six innings pitched in a no-decision against the Mets on Sunday Night Baseball. Eflin labored all night as he allowed 10 hits, but used seven strikeouts and some timely double plays to keep New York at bay. Through six starts, the 27-year-old is sporting a 3.49 ERA supported by a 3.50 xFIP. He isn't striking batters out at the same rate as last season when his K-rate spiked to over 28 percent, but he's actually got a better CSW rate so far this season, so there is more strikeout upside for Eflin down the road. Eflin is a must-start pitcher in fantasy even with a tough matchup with Atlanta up next.
