4 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras (thigh) has returned to the Cubs lineup on Monday versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Contreras had been dealing with mild right thigh tightness since Friday and didn't start on Saturday or Sunday, but entered Sunday's contest out of desperation with the Cubs not having any other position players to replace outfielder Ian Happ when he got hurt on Sunday. Contreras is off to a nice start and is hitting .238 with seven home runs and 16 RBI and will bat fifth in his return. Contreras should be fired up in daily lineups, but those playing DFS may want to look elsewhere with the catcher facing a tough challenge in Walker Buehler on Monday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
