4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (wrist) was held out of the lineup on Monday and could be facing a stint on the injured list, according to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com. Harper suffered the injury on Wednesday when he was hit in the face by a pitch that ricocheted into his wrist, and he had returned to the lineup on Sunday but reaggravated his wrist after landing on it in the sixth inning. Manager Joe Girardi said he is hopeful that Harper will not require a trip to the IL, but they will have to wait and see how Harper does. Managers should continue to monitor for updates on Harper's status, and in the meantime the Phillies started Odubel Herrera in right field for the opener with the Brewers.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
