4 years agoBaltimore Orioles pitcher Isaac Mattson was added to the active roster on Monday, according to Joe Trezza of MLB.com. Mattson — who was one of the prospects Baltimore received in the trade that sent Dylan Bundy to the Angels —joins the Orioles after the team optioned starting pitcher Bruce Zimmerman to Triple-A on Monday. He has primarily pitched out of the bullpen in his three-year career in the minors, but he does have some experience in the rotation with 11 starts in 2018. He has high strikeout potential after posting a 29.8 percent strikeout rate over 199 innings in the minors, and he's worth taking a look at in SV/HLD formats if he's used out of the bullpen.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
