4 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Dinelson Lamet (forearm) has been announced as the starter for Tuesday night's game against the Rays, according to Dennis Lin of The Athletic. Lamet has been on the 10-day injured list with forearm tightness since April 22, after an early exit in his season debut on April 21. Before leaving the start against Milwaukee, Lamet had shown off his strikeout potential by recording four strikeouts in two innings of work, while allowing just one hit and one walk. He could be in line for a solid outing against a Tampa Bay squad that is tied for the fourth-highest strikeout rate in the majors at 26.9 percent.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
