4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer is out of the starting lineup again on Tuesday night, as it will be his third game in a row he will sit out. Springer was held out of the lineup on Sunday due to it being a day game immediately following a night game, and then Monday's absence was announced as being planned in advance. Currently there is no word for why Springer is being held out Tuesday. Springer opened the year on the injured list dealing with an oblique strain and a quad strain, and managers will now hope that he won't need to head back to the IL again.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
