Justin Dunn Is Solid On Tuesday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justin Dunn pitched well against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday, going 5 1/3 innings and only allowing one run. Once again, the walks were the problem for Dunn, as he gave up more walks (4) than hits (3). It was these walks that got him into jams and quickly elevated his pitch count, forcing him to leave the game in the sixth. Dunn struck out six Orioles, and now has a solid 3.51 ERA and 1.29 WHIP for the season. If he can manage to get his command in order on a consistent basis, he'll be an excellent back-of-the-roster fantasy option. For now, he's no more than a streamer in anything but the deepest leagues.
