4 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (knee) was placed on the 10-day injured list. The veteran injured his left knee during Monday's contest against Tampa Bay. Although X-rays were encouraging, the bruise he sustained will keep him on the shelf for the foreseeable future. The 30-year-old is batting .276 this year, collecting 16 hits, 11 RBI, nine runs, and three home runs throughout 58 at-bats.
