4 years agoNew York Mets first baseman/outfielder Dominic Smith went 2-for-4 with a run scored in the Mets' 7-2 win over the Cardinals in the second game of a doubleheader on Wednesday. Smith sat the first game of the twin bill, though he did have a pinch-hit appearance and went 0-for-1. Smith has been struggling to start the season, but he is showing signs of coming out of his slump. He is now batting .333/.368/.444 over 18 at-bats in May, although he has not hit a home run since April 13. While Smith remains a regular in the Mets' lineup, fantasy managers should continue to keep Smith active in all formats as he begins to heat up.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
