4 years agoNew Jersey Devils goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood will be hunting for his fifth consecutive victory in Thursday's road outing versus the Islanders. The 24-year-old was in an awful slump before beating Philadelphia 6-4 last Tuesday, and he hasn't looked back ever since, beating the Flyers two more times before taking down Boston with 33 saves a couple of nights ago. Blackwood is 13-16-4 for the season with a 3.04 goals-against average, a .902 save percentage and one shutout. He hasn't won five starts in a row all year but seems to have a decent shot at achieving it here, with the Isles dropping five of their last seven games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
