4 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Christian Arroyo (hand) remains out of the lineup on Friday, and is expected to return for Sunday's game, according to Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic. Arroyo was hit on the hand by a pitch in Wednesday's game, and was held out of Thursday's lineup. McCaffrey adds that Arroyo could be used as a potential defensive replacement or pinch runner, but the team wants to avoid him swinging a bat for now. Arroyo is slashing .275/.333/.377 with five RBI and nine runs scored through 23 games this season, making him fantasy relevant only in deep leagues as a middle-infield option.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
