4 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron (back) was scratched from Friday's lineup due to lower back tightness, according to Nick Groke of The Athletic. Matt Adams replaced Cron at first base, and is batting sixth against the Cardinals. Cron has gotten off to a good start in his first year in Colorado, slashing .290/.394/.495 with five home runs, 15 RBI and 17 runs scored in 29 games.
