Chris Flexen Allows Four Runs
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Chris Flexen allowed four runs to the Texas Rangers Saturday. All four runs came in the first three innings, before Flexen managed to settle down. All told, he allowed four runs on ten hits and a walk in 6 1/3 innings, while striking out two. The big blow came on a two-run home run from Nate Lowe in the first inning. Flexen now has a solid 3.78 ERA, but his fantasy value will be middling at best if he doesn't maintain a high strikeout rate.
