4 years agoWilliam Byron gets a fortunate fifth-place start on Sunday and showed some potential last year. He finished fifth in the Fall race at Darlington. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver has only led three laps in five appearances but showed the ability to get into the top ten and stay near there in 2020. The No. 24 has the speed and acumen to take advantage of the larger banking on the track. It comes down to positioning and grip. That is what failed him in the end during the Fall race.
