4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman Colin Moran exited Saturday's game after he appeared to have injured himself while attempting to turn a double play, according to Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Mackey reports that after catching a lineout from Jason Heyward, Moran dove back to first base to attempt to get the tag out for an unassisted double play, but when he got up he appeared to be in pain and limped off the field. Todd Frazier entered the game to replace him in the field. Moran has been having a solid start to the year, slashing .300/.355/.473 with four home runs, 19 RBI and 10 runs scored in 31 games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
